Athenaeum Pro 2017 Changes

History

Interface

The command, filter and print menus now adopt the vertical arrangement.

The list view will not repeat the borrower name down the screen, if the borrower in the previous record is the same as the borrower in next record, reducing clutter. You may see the name of the borrower simply by hovering the mouse cursor over the borrower column.

The detail screen will show or hide field labels according to the setting in admin preferences and can be toggled on the fly by clicking the “i” icon at the top right.

The audit tab on the detail screen will show details of any fees associated with the issue

Constrained Filters

A tip for advanced users:

when choosing to filter the history list, the “this/last week”, “this/last month” and “this/last year” options will change behaviour slightly if you press and hold the shift key when using them. Athenaeum Pro 2017 will constrain your search to the existing found set of history records instead of performing a new find.

For example, assume you listed the history for an arbitrary set of borrowers. Holding the Shift key while choosing “this year” in the filter menu will search for only entries for the current year in the history records for that arbitrary set of borrowers.

Author Report

The summary of issues by author has been restored to the print menu.

This summarises the found set of history records and lists the authors, sorted by the most issued first.
